I used Crazy for Cupcake's balloon for the background. I'm loving these new treat cups. Now if only we'd get some cold weather so I could mail some chocolate in them!

A Cocktail Birthday
I made this lovely cocktail inspired card for my friend Kathy's birthday.
I didn't have the Real Red marker, so I used the paper piecing technique to do the cherries and strawberries. It definitely adds a special touch. And the new scallop oval punch is fabulous!!!! The colors are definitely very summer-y too...love it!

Textured Card
I love my Big Shot! Using the texturez plates I can make any of my SU! papers have added texture....it adds a whole other dimension to the card.
The Parisian Breeze DSP (retired) in this card is also textured. Gosh I love that paper.
I always need tons of Thank You notes, so this is just one of the many in my stash!

Sponge Bob Birthday
I made this birthday card for my friend Kathy's daughter's birthday. She was turning 7 and had a Sponge Bob themed party.
I think it turned out quite well! My newest thing is to decorate the insides of my cards...this is what I did on the inside:

I've been MIA for a while, but I'll try to get back into the swing of posting soon.
Enjoy!

CASE!
The lovely Ms. Pam Browne showed us a card at my upline's last downline meeting (thats a mouthful!) that I just knew I had to case! I absolutely loved it, and I'm always looking for unique card designs. Here's a pic of Pam's project:
Amazing right? I know! Click over to Pam's Blog to see more of her creations.
Now, here is the card I made using Pam's idea. I used the Parisian Breeze DSP (which is retiring this month, so let me know if you need some ASAP).

A little more detailed....
Hope you enjoyed this creation. Check back again soon for more new projects, cards, and gift ideas!

Comfort Food
These are just a few 3x3 cards I made this week. I've never really played with this size before, but I felt like to really highlight this stamp set I needed to do a smaller card.
I made this "donut be sad" card for my colleague Kathy who just got back from vacation.
This one I made for my fiance. He'd had a rough day and I knew a card would make him smile...especially one with a silly little pun like this.
The stamp set is Comfort Food a level 1 hostess set (you can get this set for free with a $150 order! Contact me for details). The patterned paper is something I got from a fellow stamper so I don't know who makes it. The cardstock is an old in color I had on hand that matched the paper fairly well I thought.
Leave a comment and tell me what you think! Oh...and maybe what you're favorite comfort food is...mine is Chocolate! yummy!

Spring Brings Roses
First let me tell you...I am OBSESSED with SU!'s Fifth Avenue Floral set. I love it! It never leaves my desk, and its always ALWAYS inky.
Here is the card I created for my Mom and my wonderful Future Mother-In-Law for Mother's Day.

You can find a tutorial for this base of this project on Stephanie Luman's blog.
I played with the roses a bit to get some different dimensions. I cut each one on different lines and assembled them with dimensionals....here's a detail shot:
The ingredients for this card include: Riding Hood Red CS, Pink Piroutte CS, Candy Cane Lane DSP, Kraft DSP, Whisper White CS, and some lovely silver brads.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to comment and let me know what you think! :-)

Our Love Story
Here's a pic of a project I've been working on for a couple of weeks now.
I used some SU! Designer Series Paper and the 08-09 IN Colors. The SU! Organza ribbon finally arrived today so I could finish it off!
Enjoy a few close-ups....

And here's the back....I covered the chipboard but havent decided what photos I'm gonna be using for it.

**These pictures are all from the weekend that we went to the Outer Banks of NC and got engaged**

Cards for Kids: Valentines Challenge
Valentines! Yup, tomorrow is February 1st, which means Valentines day is only 2 weeks away! You better get crackin'. hehe.
These are some valentines I made for a great project called 1000 Valentines: Cards for Kids Challenge. These will be going to the Children's Hospital in Michigan.

The kids will be exchanging handmade cards from various cardmakers across the country. I've got to pop all these in the mail tomorrow, but I thought you might want to see a few before I do.
If you are interested in getting involved in this project visit http://rubbermaid.blogspot.com/
Thanks for stopping by! Lots more on my cards and creations coming very soon!

A Card for Grandma
My boyfriend's grandmother's birthday is this weekend, so of course I was charged with the task of making the PERFECT card.
I love my Upsy Daisey set (its one I turn to quite often for all occasions). And it goes so well with the Urban Garden DSP...LOVE IT. (and everytime I use a piece I tell myself 'I have got to order more of this!' --yes, I love it that much).

I love the color combo of the green and blues, but I did think it needed a little pink, so I added the brads for a bit of a POP.
I also stamped the back, since too often people don't realize I've made their card...
I got this stamp out of my lovely Demo, Lisa's, goodie basket. You can check out her blog at: www.stampingwithlisa.com
(I'm hoping to be joining her downline very soon)

Masculine Miss You
A masculine card!...sorta
A masculine 'missing you' card...or atleast as 'masculine' as I get. Still can't resist putting a saying inside a card, so Flight of the Butterfly set always saves the day for me.
